August Pictures - Part 2

There are so many things to do in St. Louis for free...and in case you couldn't tell, I try to take advantage of them often!  This Saturday in August, we hit the Missouri Botanical Gardens during one of their 'free' days with our neighbors, Dave and Ann Louise, and our former (and missed!) neighbors, Paul and Jeannette and "D" and "B."  We had a really fun morning, and the kiddos lasted far longer than we all expected.

Enlarged pic so you can see the smiles on these previous faces!

Anyone want to see what "this" looked like just a year (14 months) ago?  See below for a flashback!!
June 2011!!!  CRAZY, huh?  I think so!!

Most of our crew that day, minus our cameraman, Dave S.  Oops for my eyes closed!

We could feed fish there and EJ was totally into it!

Momma and her girl!

So, on one of the throws, EJ landed it square in the fish's mouth.  It was awesome!  The fish were huge and so colorful, so EJ was really into it.

Look at the gorgeous sky behind us!

I love this precious little face of hers... :)

Look at the little guy's grin on his face...oh, and the screaming delight of EJ in the background!

We all thought these two kiddos would totally NOT be into the wagon and just want to run around, but to our surprise, they loved it and wanted to stay in it nearly the whole time.

Some of the views along the trail...

And this is only 10 minutes from our house!  Amazing!

There is a childrens section, and there were some arts-n-crafts.  EJ and D had fun making their kites....

Pretty excited about her kite.  ;)

Thre were some costumes the kids could use, so we had a butterfly and a bat.
